Stall construction and sizes
WEST END FAIR & WINTER IN THE WEST END.
Shell units (and stand system in Winter) are all all made from wood/plywood panels. These are stained a tasteful blue colour but you must decorate them. You may staple or screw into these walls, but be aware that the plywood will only be 6 or 9mm thick, and you will have neighbours. You don’t need 15mm staples to hang fabric on them - 6mm is plenty! NO NAILS. You may not use nails on any of our stand system at any time. S-hooks are very useful for hanging things over the top. You must remove everything you put in your stall - including ALL staples.

Dressing Your stall
You must dress your stall to make it appear attractive to customers. Just laying your items out flat on a table isn’t going to make customers want to spend money with you. If you have booked a shell unit or screens you’ll need to cover them with something. Most people use either wallpaper or fabric. This can be stapled on (6mm staples max!). You may not use nails on any of our stand systems. You can hang things from screws (remembering that the plywood is very thin and you can’t have screws sticking through into your neighbour’s stall!) S-Hooks or large Bulldog clips also work very well.
Electricity
We try to provide electricity at our events but sometimes it’s not possible for operational reasons. Where it is provided it will always be a limited supply. Allowances per stall are mentioned in each individual Infopack. You may not use any heaters, kettles, or other high wattage items or you will damage the circuits. All your electrical items must have a current PAT certificate. We are sometimes able to offer on-site PAT testing but this can’t be guaranteed, so ensure it’s all up to date before you come to the event. Where we are unable to offer electricity you are welcome to use battery banks or lights on your stall.
WIFI
Wifi is available at most of our inside events, provided by the venue. At outdoor events we have invested in a Starlink terminal that will be made available for you to access. We can’t guarantee access everywhere in a venue but will try our best.
General
Alcohol may not be consumed at any of our events during opening hours.
Although the general public may be able to bring dogs into certain venues, we have a policy of no exhibitors’ dogs at our events.
